Lev Protocol Inc. ("Lev", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of vendors who use the Lev Marketplace app ("App") to sync their Shopify store with the Lev mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you install and use the App.
By installing the App and participating in the Lev Marketplace, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
When you install the Lev Marketplace app from the Shopify App Store, we access certain data from your Shopify store through the Shopify Admin API, based on permissions you approve. This includes:
- Stripe account information (for processing reimbursements)
- Store information (store name, email, address, and currency)
- Product data (titles, descriptions, images, prices, inventory)
- Order data (order IDs, products sold, order value, fulfilment status)
- Customer data (name, email, shipping address — only for orders placed through Lev)
- Billing and usage data (to process our 15% commission through Shopify Billing API)
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Sync your product catalog with the Lev mobile app
- Facilitate order creation and fulfillment through your Shopify store
- Calculate and process commission and reimbursements
- Notify customers of order status through the Lev app
- Promote your brand and products within our app and marketing channels (only with your consent via our Vendor Agreement)
- Maintain compliance with Shopify's requirements and applicable laws
Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. However, we may share data with:
- Shopify, as required to facilitate order processing and billing
- Stripe, to process reimbursements when applicable
- Authorized service providers, who assist with platform infrastructure and analytics, under strict confidentiality agreements
- Legal authorities, if required by law, regulation, or to protect our legal rights
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure compliant with industry best practices. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, including:
- OAuth-based secure Shopify app authentication
- Role-based access controls
- Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Access to Customer Data
You have access to customer information (name, email, shipping address) for each order placed through the Lev app. You agree to:
- Not contact customers for marketing unless explicitly permitted
- Use this information only for order fulfillment and support purposes
- Comply with Shopify's Customer Privacy rules and all applicable privacy laws
Data Retention
We retain your store and transaction data as long as your store is connected to Lev and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You may request data deletion by contacting us at partners@levmaps.com.
Cookies & Analytics
Our mobile app may use cookies and third-party analytics tools (e.g., Meta Ads, internal reporting) to improve functionality and marketing efforts. No personally identifiable vendor data is collected through these tools without your consent.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to or correction of your data
- Withdraw consent or request deletion (subject to contractual and legal limitations)
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority
