How do I sign up for Lev?
Download the Lev app, enter your email, and complete your profile with basic information about you and your dog. You’ll start with a 20-bone welcome bonus and can begin collecting bones on your first walk!
How do I start a walk and collect bones?
Head to the Map tab and tap “Start” to begin walking. Lev will track your route, distance, and time. As you walk, approach bone markers on the map to collect bones, which can later be redeemed in the Marketplace.
How can I earn more bones?
Bones can be earned through collecting on walks, maintaining streaks, referring friends, verifying locations, voting in polls, and sharing walk summaries. Each method brings you closer to new rewards for you and your pup!
What can I do with my bones?
Bones are your currency in Lev! Our Marketplace has discounts on pet products, services, and accessories from over 100 dog-friendly brands. Redeem bones to access promo codes that can be applied at checkout in partner stores.
What do I do if there is a problem redeeming my offer?
If you encounter any issues redeeming your offer, please reach out directly to the customer service team of the retailer providing the offer.
How does the streak feature work?
Every day you start a walk counts as a streak day. Lev rewards streaks with increasing bone bonuses on days 2, 3, 5, and 8—and keeps going as long as you do! Check your Dashboard to track your streak progress.
How do I meet fellow dog owners?
Lev makes it easy to connect with other dog owners nearby! Head to the Map tab to see other users out on walks. Tap on their avatar to view their profile and send a friend request. Once connected, you’ll be able to chat, share posts in your Friends feed, and even see each other’s walk summaries. Lev also suggests new friends who have been active near you recently—just check the “Suggested Friends” section in your Profile to connect with even more dog-loving neighbors!
How do I refer a friend, and what rewards do we get?
Share your unique referral link with friends from the Dashboard or your profile. Once they sign up and start collecting bones, both of you receive a 5-bone bonus. Each friend brings you new rewards!
How do I make a post on Lev?
Tap “New Post” on the Home tab, add a short message, up to 5 photos, and select the post’s visibility (“Community” to share with everyone, “Friends” for a more personal view, or “Only Me” if you prefer to keep it private). Share your adventures with others or keep some moments just for yourself!
What should I do if I see an inappropriate post?
If a post seems inappropriate or violates community guidelines, tap the three dots next to it and select “Report.” Lev takes user feedback seriously and will review any reported content to maintain a safe, positive environment.
How do I add a new dog-friendly location to the map?
Open the Map tab, tap “Add Location,” and enter the details. Adding a location costs 2 bones, but if the community verifies it as dog-friendly, you’ll get those bones back with a 5-bone bonus!
How does the poll system work for new locations?
Every location added by users is verified by the community through a poll. Vote on whether a location is dog-friendly, not dog-friendly, or doesn’t exist. If you vote with the majority, you’ll get a bonus bone.
How can I hide my location from other users?
To hide your location from other users, simply enable Invisible Mode by clicking the “eye” button in the upper left corner of the map. Keep in mind that while in Invisible Mode, you won’t be able to see or interact with other dog owners on the map. You can turn off Invisible Mode anytime by deactivating the “eye” button.
How do I change my GPS settings?
Lev requests permission to access your geolocation upon signup. This enables features like tracking walks and connecting with nearby dog owners. If you decline initially, you can later adjust your GPS settings by accessing your device’s settings menu.
Who gets my data and location if I opt-in?
When you opt-in to share your data and location, it’s used solely within the app. We prioritize your privacy and ensure that your information is securely managed. Your data is not shared with any third parties.
